Jakarta Hotels Indonesia; a Unique Location!

Jakarta hotels Indonesia need to be situated in strategic locations. The traffic jams in this huge metropolis are epic! The government has finally started to build an integrated MRT (Mass Rapid Transport) and the massive building sites burden the busiest places even more for many years to come. If you have business to conduct, choose a hotel that is positioned strategically.

One of the perfect homes away from home for budget minded people is situated right on top of FX Sudirman mall in the business district of Jakarta. To have a hotel right next to a Mall is nothing new but on top of it? You find the front desk and the lobby of the hotel right in the middle of the lobby of the mall. As soon as you check in at the front desk you get an access card to the lobby and elevator area and of course your specific floor and room. A modern way to keep unwanted people out and you safe!

Jakarta Hotels Indonesia offering Plenty of Entertainment

The suites are quite big, especially the corner room that I visited. Since this is a Harris hotel, the interior is decorated with simple clean lines and orange as the main color. There are big windows from floor to ceiling even in the spacious bathroom, equipped with shower and a hairdryer. You also get the typical Harris amenities of tooth brush, soap, shampoo and unique slippers. There is a flat TV with local and international Channels, quite a big fridge and coffee / tea maker.

The most impressive is the view over Jakarta. If you get a room facing the North and West you will look over Senayan the stadium and other sports facilities and a quaint green and yellow Mosque. The Sudirman and Central Business District are to the north with distinctive skyscrapers in walking distance. You are on top of FX Sudirman mall, minutes away from the Stock Exchange, Senayan Golf Course, Plaza Senayan mall and Senayan City mall.

HARRIS Suites FX Sudirman – Jakarta, Jl. Jend Sudirman, Pintu Satu Senayan does not need to have a restaurant because FX Sudirman mall is offering many local and international restaurants, cafes, fast food outlets and food market next to plenty of shops and boutiques. This mall is also known for the long stainless steel and transparent polycarbonate slide. It transports you in seconds from the 7 down to the 3 floor; an adrenaline rush for the brave of heart.

I visited my friend who stayed at Harris hotel during the fasting month. In the mall people were hustling and bustling to find their preferred dinner at opening of the fast. The atmosphere was festive, welcoming and friendly although there were huge crowds enjoying themselves while waiting for the traffic to ease up so they and we could go home.

Do you plan to travel through Java? First things first, have a look at Puncak; rent a Villa here and tour Taman Safari. Travel a bit further and visit this hotel in Cirebon and have fun in Yogyakarta.
