Bali luxury resort, The Four Seasons Hotel a dream vacation coming true! There are many different kinds of resorts, some more geared to entertainment and sports and there are some that celebrate luxury. Here is one that pampers you to the max.
When we first realized that there was a new luxury resort built on an unknown beach far away from the hustle and bustle we had to try it out. The Four Seasons Hotel is legendary and having a property in Bali meant that international hotel chains and their patrons took notice of the island of gods.
The property sits on top of a cliff with access to then quiet Jimbaran beach that was a fishermen’s launch site. The beach is wide and the yellow sand clean and it slopes gently into the sea; safe for families. The hotel operates a bar at the beach for its hotel guest; you do not need to go back and forth to the hotel for a drink or snacks.
The hotel is built like a Balinese village with private villas arranged in typical local compounds, each with a wall around it and a carved entrance door. The rooms are set in pavilions; we had a lavish master bedroom and one for the children. The roofs are made of intricate thick thatched fiber made by hand and exposing the beautiful pattern when you look up into the gable.
The bedding and furniture are lavish and very comfortable. A bathroom with local marble and a free stranding tub and backyard view is wonderful; there is even a shower available in the garden al fresco within your own wall of course. The private swimming pool is situated in front and offers stunning views over the Bali Straight and landing planes in the distance.
There is a separate Bale Bengong to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or have a relaxing tea and read a book or simply take pleasure in the traditional and modern decorations and furnishings. Since the property is located on a slope, the view is stunning from almost anywhere. The public areas like lobby, restaurant and pool are in the middle; this is the first infinity pool I saw and it is amazing.
Thorough out the property the Balinese theme is kept perfectly. The walkways resemble village streets shaded by coconut palm trees. Bougainville and Frangipani flowers enhance the tropical feel with their vibrant colors and sensual fragrance. This is a proper vacation in paradise!
