Bali Apartments; Stay as Long as you Want

More and more people are looking for Bali apartments; especially residents from Java and foreigners who come here for extended periods for business or leisure. Meet Ganga Hotel & Apartment. It has become a trend to own a house or apartment in Bali, of course for one’s own use and also to rent out. Just for your information, there are bungalow stile apartments available along the beaches, at affordable prices too, one just has to look for them.

Ganga Hotel & Apartment, Jl. Gunung Soputan Utara No. 1A, Denpasar though is not one of them; it is quite far from the tourist centers and the beaches. The address is Denpasar the capital of Bali, although it is on the border to Kuta. It is about 20 minutes drive to the airport and a bit longer to Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. In other words, back here you are depending on transportation. The positive is that you are in a Balinese community where ‘warung’ local eateries, laundry and markets are all around you.

Practical and Cozy Bali Apartments at Ganga Hotel & Apartment

Kathy also lives in a studio kind of apartment similar to this not far from Ganga Hotel. This area looks ideal for workers who need long term accommodation. When I arrived by car, I almost missed it, I came from the back side, although here all streets are narrow and confusing. As soon as I walked through the gate with the colorful Ganesha statue, I was impressed. The swimming pool and the garden look luxurious. There is a tiny restaurant on the right with a few tables and some Balinese cabanas called ‘Bale Bengong’ on the left offering a simple food and drink menu.

The apartment I saw was on the ground floor on two levels. On the bottom right at the entrance is the living room with sofa and TV. In the back you have a small bathroom with shower (deluxe rooms come with bathtub) and a kitchen nook with fridge and sink (no stove for short say) and upstairs on the wooden platform or the loft is a queen or king size bed with a makeup table with mirror and a closet.

All you need is provided

This is definitely a comfortable apartment with plenty of amenities for anybody from anywhere used to comfort (not luxury). The floors are like in many places tiled on the ground floor and bathroom.  There is air conditioning, hot water and free WIFI; what else could you want. For me, the living room is a bit dark, but that is just my taste. In the tropics it is good to not have too much sun in your house, it gets too hot.

Four you who are looking for Bali apartments and are not deterred by distance to the beach, these ones are a great choice.

If you would like to be much, much closer to the beach, look at these Bali vacation rental suites.

Here it is good to have transportation, rent a car with driver if you are not familiar with the driving and the place.

Of course, you might prefer accommodation right at Kuta beach, here some choices: An affordable hotel , or more luxury and space in this resort. If you are surf buff; this is for you.
