Your Special Luxury Hotels Bali
Balquisse Heritage Hotel

Luxury hotels Bali; there are many choices, which one is right for you? Keep on reading if you are looking for something off the beaten track; something that is modern but not on the forefront of technology, clean lines and color. Here is a the opposite, meet Balquisse Heritage Hotel.

Are you romantic and nostalgic, wishing time could be reversed and the old world luxury travel could be relived? You are on the right track; here is the hotel of your dreams!

Kathy and I drove by it … and missed it. The sign is there, we just did not see it because of the foliage or for whatever reason. When we came back on Jalan Uluwatu though we saw it, there it was. We parked the car and were still not really sure, where to go. The hotel lobby is tugged away in the back of a beauty parlor… but once you step through the gate into the garden, it’s magic.

Not New; Lovingly Restored

The bungalows or villas as they are called here have been beautifully restored with a very clear and unique design concept: Old time luxury travel. Every corner of the room is thought through for style and functionality. Antique, discarded objects have been collected and placed strategically around the property for fun and/or impressive accents.

The paint that is used on the walls shows a unique nuance; it is old world distressed and yet very modern. The historic phones each from a different era are restored and used within the hotel.

The beds and bedding of course are modern and luxurious, so are the bathrooms, although equipped with stone sinks and tubs. Traditional North African lamps light the way and similar paintings entertain the viewer.

There are gorgeous pools placed in the carefully maintained garden surrounded by deck chairs and pavilion with padded sofas. Sip a refreshing drink at the open air restaurant with Javanese wood carvings and contemplate the international menu and the beauty of the surroundings.

Luxury Hotels Bali; Balquisse Heritage Hotel is Definitely Unique

This place is something you must see for yourself and get the feel for it; I have great difficulties describing the whole of it in adequate words. It is a beautiful, modern, relaxing, functional offering quality service and luxury and yet it exudes and air of antiquity, times long past. It reflects Bali definitely and absolutely in its style and accessory and yet adds a nuance of North Africa.

The hotel has access to the main street in Jimbaran, and is close to the airport and other centers of interest like Kuta, Seminyak and also Nusa Dua; and you are about a block away from Jimbaran Beach with its clean, yellow sand and fresh seafood restaurants at night.

Balquisse Heritage Hotel, Jl Uluwatu, Jimbaran is a perfect place for romantic retreats, it is also a great place to spend time with your kids; they have a family room with a loft for your youngsters. For your ultimate celebration rent the separate mansionand enjoy your unique wedding or other private party. Spend some quality time with your loved ones in this relaxing old world luxury hotels Bali, you will not regret it.

Are you looking for modern luxury?

Right around the corner you will find this new, high tech 4star Bali hotel with plenty of amenities. In Seminyak we visited these suites, located in the middle of the happening with plenty of restaurants right on the ground floor.

And in Kuta between two malls you can chill out in this hotel offering Villa & Loft with private swimming pool in your living room. Or a similar bungalow in Ubud, the artist’s village. On the other side of the spectrum you can enjoy a quiet holiday in the mountains in this garden hotel.
