Inaya Putri Hotel Nusa Dua Bali has taken up a large plot of land in this specially developed area in the south of the island. The whole complex gives the impression of a lush tropical garden or park with many luxury accommodations spread out along the beautiful wide beach. What I really like about this complex is that it has not taken up any precious rice fields. These long stretches along the yellow sand used to be coconut groves and nothing else.
A big part of this peninsula has sparse vegetation and most of it is coral rock with sheer cliffs falling off into the blue and sometimes quite rough ocean. One can find some small coves with sandy beaches below; secret places for insiders or for exclusive villas perched above.
But now let’s discover another stunning hotel inside the compound.
When you drive up to the lobby you think you enter a boat, a Pirogue that is turned upside down. This majestic roof or the upside down boat feels like the construction of a cathedral. And it definitely keeps the inside cool. There are very few walls and the fresh sea breeze can be felt everywhere.

Next to the lobby are four story blocks housing the guest rooms, arranged facing each other and forming a village. River like pools running along them with the ground floor rooms having direct access to the water and the upper floors or at least most of them enjoy sea view. The villages are beautifully arranged with tropical gardens, palm trees, flower bushes, fragrant Frangipanis and benches that invite to sit down and contemplate your surroundings or/and chat with your fellow guests. Each of these villages has a Balinese name and one enters through a traditional carved door.
In the center of the property lays the central swimming pool surrounded by a lawn and plenty of day chairs to relax. Towering over part of the pool is a structure for conventions and the terrace with the chapel like structure, made from steal and glass. This location will give you awesome pictures with the ocean in the background. And yes, this hotel also is one of the privileged ones; they have direct beach access. Inaya Putri Bali has been here for quite some time and has been able to keep up with the times and satisfy their guests.
I was getting very hungry exploring hotel Nusa Dua Bali and decided to order lunch in the open air restaurant. I was served freshly baked bread rolls with a metal container that kept the butter fresh and cool. And yes, a wet cool hand towel ‘a la Japan’ made my day. The food was presented in a very modern way and of course tasted delicious. And all this lavishness did not cost an arm and a leg.
Inaya Putri Hotel Nusa Dua Bali, is like many of the other hotels along this beach offer glorious services for unique and relaxing holidays anytime of the year.
