Bali Family Hotels; This One is Awesome

When we stepped into Eden I realized this is not one of the typical Bali family hotels. My brother from Switzerland had reserved a unit here for his and our holidays in Bali; I was impressed! We were 9 people, 6 adults and 3 teenagers and we had ample space in this grand villa.

Eden the Residence at the Sea, Jl. Batu Belig, Seminyak prepared Pranna unit for us. We owned five huge bedrooms, one on the ground floor next to the open plan kitchen and dining room; it had two single beds in it for brother and sister. On the floor above there are 2 bedrooms with king size beds and the same kind of arrangement is on the floor above. All bathrooms have a massive bathtub, shower, toilet and sink together with a small foliage garden.

All the floors, tub etc are made from whitish stone with lots of mirrors and milk glass walls to let in plenty of light. The gigantic bed is very comfortable, with white cheese cloth curtains around it at night and romantic lighting from different sources.

All the windows face toward the West, over the private and gorgeous swimming pool made of greenish stone tiles and set in a lush tropical garden with orchid plants hung from a Frangipani tree and a waterfall on one wall. And there is a big surprise… There is a roof top terrace with abundant seating, a bath tub and a splendid view of the sunset.

Eden also offers units with only 3 bedrooms and they are one floor shorter and are in front of the taller ones; therefore all units have a vast view over Seminyak, and a bit of the beach. Phalosa Villa too is not taller and is a complex right at the beach. They also rent out their garden venue for events like weddings. They will give notice to their neighbors and cap the time for music and dancing at around midnight.

The living room at our favorite Bali family hotels is open to the pool and garden and offers plenty of wide and cushioned sofas. There are also day beds to sun bath and a modern idea of a Bale Bengong (pavilion to daydream). As a Swiss family we spent many hours at the long and comfortable dining table discussing the day’s activities and reviewing the fun days we spent there.

Eden the Residence at the Sea Bali Family HotelsYou find Friendly, Helpful, Professional People

A big thanks to the kind, friendly and willing staff who cooked for us our favorite meals, prepared breakfast and cleaned up after us in any and every way. Eden’s cooks prepared perfectly done Chicken Sates and Stakes on the grill; yummy Nasi Goreng, scrambled eggs and much more. These services are included in your rent and you should let the staff pamper you in a Balinese way. If you want you can ask Yoga classes and water exercises to be conducted in your villa and of course, here you can get a massage too.

Now that is what I call one of the most perfect Bali family hotels.
