Choose the Right Bali Clubs for You

Bali Clubs offer plenty of entertainment and fun. Some serve gourmet food, some are open the whole day, some operate on multiple levels and some even offer accommodation. When you visit any club or entertainment center in Bali, please be careful; keep your belongings with you at all times, be careful what you drink and be aware of people around you, not everybody has your best interest in mind!

Plenty of Music and Entertainment in Bali Clubs

Sky Garden, Jalan Legian No. 61, Legian

This is a club offering multiple areas with different genre of music, from hip-hop to trance to top 20ies. It has a roof top area which offers an all you can eat buffet during sunset. Check out their specials and programs for different days of the week and scheduled DJs. ‘The University Night’ definitely attracts the younger crowd that loves to party loud and care free. This club does not have a dress code, everybody is welcome. Sky Garden is a place to visit if you want to let your hair down and meet plenty of new people.

Mirror Seminyak,  Jl Petitenget, no 106, Seminyak, open from 11:00 PM to 04:00 AM

Right now the hippest club seems to be Mirror Seminyak. It is a beautifully decorated space with plenty of mirrors and mosaics. This traps the lights in an interesting way and makes the club very modern. Spend the night with friends, party, eat good food in a great ambience and have fun. You need to dress up to get in; flip-flops and shorts are not accepted. Look out for themed nights like R&B and internationally renowned groups and DJs.

La Favela Bar & Restaurant, Jl Lakarmana Oberoi, Kayu Aya no 177X, Seminyak,
open from 12.00 lunch-0200AM

The entrance to this Bar and Restaurant is filled with hanging plants and greenery and leads into a unique space that has an old world, rustic feel to it with wooden beams and ceilings, distressed and beautifully polished wood railings and furniture, chipped wall paper and exposed brick walls, vintage chandeliers, lots of knick-knacks and paintings from times gone by. It has an open area, a terrace garden in the same style with plenty of tropical trees and ferns giving it a romantic jungle look and feel especially at night. It attracts Western tourists with its atmosphere, menu and bar.

Hu'u bar Bar, Bistro and Villas, Petitenget, Seminyak,
open from 06.00 am-04.00 am

This establishment opened in 2001and has had the pleasure to welcome Paris Hilton and Quincy Delight Jones besides many other stars.  You can see this restaurant and bar from far because of its colored roof. It is upper-class and offers a hang out and party place for the whole day with pool and outdoor area. The patrons are in their late twenties to thirties and the music is progressive to lounge; sorry, not my kind of tunes. There are also villas available for you who want to have relaxation and fun all in one place.

Plenty of Hotels have Bars with Music

International hotels do serve alcohol and have bars with music. Many employ local minstrels from Sumatra who are well known. These Batak singers travel around hotels and restaurants and entertain you with old and new songs.

Many hotels also offer cultural shows, typical Balinese dances together with a buffet dinner.
